Stop struggling, start succeeding
Indeed, you can’t succeed in life without overcoming challenges.
Success doesn’t fall on anyone’s lap.
It’s not a product of luck.
It has to be earned.
While it is true that we will have tribulations in life, what we must never forget is that triumph over them is assured.
That’s because Jesus promised it. Check out His words below:
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
He says to you, ‘Be of good cheer.’
You are destined to overcome every challenge that comes your way in your quest to realize your goals.
You aren’t destined to keep ‘struggling’ in that pursuit.
The reason is that you have been empowered to put every challenge where it belongs in the same way that Jesus overcame every challenge that came His way.
You keep struggling because you don’t realize the empowerment and don’t use it.
Let me show you one thing missing in your approach that keeps you struggling in your quest for success.

The key to achieving your goals
The same Jesus who told you to be ‘cheerful’ since you are destined to overcome every challenge gave a ‘silver bullet’ that will make the experience real in your life.
Your needs are met when your goals are met. You are cheerful when your needs are met.
However, the sure way to meet your needs is to seek just one thing, first.
When your lifestyle is characterized by continually seeking that one thing, your needs will be met, your challenges overcome routinely, and you will stop struggling in your pursuits.
Most of us are aware of this ‘silver bullet’ that’s stated below:
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
This promise is settled forever in heaven. God keeps His promises. He upholds His word, always.
The problem is with us. We know this provision but we don’t put it to use.
We have different interpretations of what it means to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness," which is the only requirement to overcome challenges and be of good cheer.
If we gain an understanding of this condition, we will be able to walk the right path, and God will do the rest - honour His word.
But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
A very useful starting point is revealed in the Amplified version above.
The kingdom of God expresses “His way of doing and being right - the attitude and character of God.”
So learn the ‘ways’ of God which show you how to do things right every time and in every situation.
Let me show you how to fulfill this all-important condition.
How to seek the kingdom of God
The ‘kingdom of God’ is also referred to repeatedly as the ‘kingdom of heaven.’
In the parables of Jesus, the kingdom of heaven was the focus of his illustrations.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, [46] who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
He was constantly revealing how the kingdom of God operates, showing the principles, secrets, and mysteries that guide the conduct of its inhabitants.
Every parable He spoke, 38 of them, laid out the expectations of God from His children and also confirmed how He, being the Son of God, operated.
You can’t claim to belong to the kingdom of God if you aren’t living by the principles espoused in these parables.
You can’t ignore the parables, dismissing them as mere stories, and claiming to be seeking the kingdom of God.
By using our daily experiences and activities to illustrate what the kingdom of God is like, we are shown how to seek the kingdom of God.
For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. [15] And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
So the first thing is to learn from all the illustrations that Jesus gave.
That is, you must intentionally focus on the parables and invest yourself in the discovery of the secrets they contain.
Together they show you the ‘ways’ of the kingdom of God, which you can apply to your everyday walk.
By doing that, you can now do the second thing, which is to adopt the ‘ways of the kingdom’ to your way of life.
By cultivating a lifestyle of walking according to the ways of God, you will naturally ‘seek’ His kingdom and His righteousness every time.
Seeking the kingdom has to be something that you do without being prompted. It should come naturally to you in all your dealings.
You shouldn’t prep yourself to live those ways.
By exercising yourself in those ways, they soon become an integral part of you.
They define who you are and automatically how your attitude and character.
You are tuned to observing the ways always.
This is how you groom and develop yourself into one who seeks the kingdom of God first all the time!
Like the disciples, you won’t be able to live differently from observing all that the parables of Jesus have taught you about the ways of the kingdom.
Seeking the kingdom has to be something that you do without being prompted. It should come naturally to you in all your dealings.
Now, start succeeding
Jesus did not teach His people to observe what He wasn’t living by.
He was not a hypocrite.
This was the reason why He was so upset with the hypocritical leaders of His time.
He taught the same principles that empowered His walk.
Those secrets hidden in His parables were behind the success He recorded while on Earth.
They turned Him into an astonishment to everyone.
They made it difficult for people to ignore and undermine Him.
Things just had to go His way, all because he knew how to get things done.
That’s what you get from placing a higher priority on learning from His parables.
It’s time you started succeeding if you haven’t been experiencing such.
If you have seen some success, it’s also time to take it to a whole new level.
All you need to do is the same thing in both cases.
Learn the ways of the Kingdom from the parables of Jesus.
Start applying them to the situations you face daily and living by them
You will see yourself begin a new experience in life, one characterized more by successes than failure.
You can stop struggling, and start succeeding now.
Just start following the right path.
